Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University is also known as JKKNIU. It was named after our national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. It is government financed public university. It is located on trishal, Mymensingh. It is 22 KM away from main city of Mymensingh. It was established on 1 March, 2005.

Minimum Qualification
- HSC or Equivalent exam passed in 2018 or 2019,
- SSC or Equivalent exam passed in 2016 or 2017,
- That means there is 2nd time facilities in this university.
- Candidates need to get GPA 3.00 at least in both SSC & HSC or equivalent exam. The total point had to 6.50.
- For A, C, D Unit candidates need to get GPA 3.00 at least in both SSC & HSC or equivalent exam. The total point had to 7.00.
- For B Unit candidates need to get GPA 3.50 at least separately SSC and HSC or equivalent exam.

- For Al Unit : Bangla – 45, English – 45, GK – 10
- For AP Unit: Bangla – 20, English – 20, subject wise (song, fine arts, theater and performance studies, film and media) 15 × 4 = 60, practical exam – 50, written pass marks – 35 and practical pass marks – 25.
- For B Unit: English – 20, physics – 30, ICT – 20, math or biology – 30.
- For C Unit: Bangla – 10, English – 25, math – 15, (accounting – 25, commerce law and apply – 25 – for commerce students ) for others GK – 50.
- For D Unit: Bangla – 20, English – 30, GK – 35, IQ test – 15.
- Written pass number gor general student is 40 marks. For quota student it is 33.
- The practical exam pass mark is 20.

- The exam will be on the MCQ method.
- Per question mark is 1.
- For wrong answer .25 marks will be cut.

How to apply For Admission Test
By online:
- Firstly you have to go to the official website jkkniu.edu.bd
- Give the necessary information. HSC passing year, board, roll number and mobile number (own or guardian).
- Get sign up.
- Give user ID and password.
- Give 300×400 pixel scanned picture of candidate. It has to be 100 KB.
- Give the information of quota and unit.
- After that click the submit button.
- Keep the information for further use.
By SMS:
- You need a Teletalk SIM for the sms procedure.
- Firstly go to the message option.
- Then type Application SMS for apply
- KNU <space> HSC Board Name <space> HSC Roll No <space> HSC Passed Year <space> SSC Board Name <space> SSC Roll No <space> SSC Passed Year <space> Unit <space> Quota.
- After typing all that check once and Send to 16222.
- Board Keywords:
- Dhaka (DHA),
- Rajshahi (RAJ),
- Chittagong (CHI),
- Dinajpur (DIN),
- Sylhet (SYL),
- Jessore (JES),
- Comilla (COM),
- Barisal (BAR),
- Madrasah (MAD),

- If all information is correct after sending the above SMS, then will be received on the return SMS.
- The sms contents with applicant name, unit name and a pin number.
- The sms will also say to pay the application fee.
- Then the applicant will have to confirm by sending another SMS to 16222.
- For confirmation, first you need to Type KNU <space> YES <Space> PIN <space> mobile number and send SMS to 16222.
- You need sufficient balance in your Teletalk mobile number. If don’t you can’t apply.
- If the applicant has a sufficient amount of money in Teletalk Prepaid, then the fee of the admission will be cut through the SMS.
- You will get a return sms via Teletalk by congratulating the applicant.
- Also you will got your admission test unit, Roll number, User ID and Password by that same sms.
- Once you apply for an SMS, it cannot be dismissed. So be careful about it
Admit card PDF Download
You will give the bill number and transaction Id to log in. Than the two things will be uploaded on the university website:
- Recent passport size picture: 1 copy (300×300 pixel).
- Applicants sign: 300×80 pixel and 60 kilobite.
Than scan them and upload them. Than have a click on print and get the print out. If you are applying another unit you can get that admit card also the same way.
