IU Admission Circular 2019-20.Islamic University is also known as IU. It is located on Kushtia. It has the largest seats of higher education in Bangladesh. Though it is a public university it is financially helped by Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) as well as Bangladesh Government. It was established on 1979 after the independence of Bangladesh. Interestingly it is the 1^st university of the independent Bangladesh. From then it grants undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees. Its total number of student is 18000 plus. It has 3 medium (Bengali, English, Arabic) for education in this university. There are 8 faculties and 33 departments in these university. These are given below:

Islamic University Admission Minimum Qualification

1. Those students were passed SSC or similar exam in 2013 to present, they are eligible to apply Islamic University.
2. Those students were passed HSC or similar exam 2018 & 2019 are eligible to apply Islamic University.
3. That means there is 2^nd time facilities in this university.
4. The applicants have to get minimum GPA 3.00 in SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam separately for Humanities group. In total have to get 6.50 point.
5. The applicants have to get minimum GPA 3.25 in SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam separately for Business Studies group. In total have to get 6.75 point.
6. The applicants have to get minimum GPA 3.50 in SSC or similar exam & HSC or similar exam separately for Science group. In total have to get 7.00 point.

IU Admission Application Procedure 2019

By Online:

• • 1. Use the official website of IU – iu.ac.bd
    2. Log into the website
    3. Enter – SSC and HSC exam roll, educational board, passing year, mobile number.
    4. Submit the information.
    5. You will got an application ID save it for further use.
    6. Using the ID you have to pay the fee.
    7. You can use bkash, rocket, surecash.
    8. Fee for per unit 100 tk.
    9. Upload your Color Photographs in 300×300 Pixel within 15KB and Upload your Signature in 300×80 Pixel.
    10. For quota you have to upload the information must be. If you don’t apply this you can’t use it further.

By SMS:

• • 1. You need a Teletalk SIM for the sms procedure.
    2. Firstly go to the message option.
    3. Then type Application SMS for apply
    4. IU <space> HSC Board Name <space> HSC Roll No <space> HSC Passed Year <space> SSC Board Name <space> SSC Roll No <space> SSC Passed Year <space>
    5. After typing all that check once and Send to 16222.
    6. Board Keywords:
       1. Dhaka (DHA),
       2. Rajshahi (RAJ),
       3. Chittagong (CHI),
       4. Dinajpur (DIN),
       5. Sylhet (SYL),
       6. Jessore (JES),
       7. Comilla (COM),
       8. Barisal (BAR),
       9. Madrasah (MAD),
       10. Tech (TEC or VOC),
       11. English Medium (GCE).
    7. If all information is correct after sending the above SMS, then will be received on the return SMS.
    1. The sms will say to pay the application fee.

Payment Procedure 

• • 1. Dial *322# from any operator.
    2. Select 1 For Payment option
    3. Again, Select 1 For Bill Payment option
    4. Type your Bill ID.
    5. Now give your application ID (also called Bill No that is got from SMS after online application)
    6. Now Type your application fee (unit wise amount + service charge 25 TK )
    7. Now give your PIN for completing application fee.
    8. Finally, You Will Get SMS With Transaction ID (TxnID) after completing payment.
    9. Now save your Transaction ID for further use.

Islamic University  Admit card 2019-20 Download 

• • 1. After publishing exam date & time admit card will be available from.
    2. You can download your admit card from Islamic University official website http://www.iu.ac.bd/.

Islamic University  Result 2019-20 

• • 1. The result will be published within 5 days after the admission test exam.
    2. You can find the result in the official website of IU ac.bd.
