DU GHA Unit Admission Circular 2020-2120. The University of Dhaka, also known as Dhaka University (simply DU) is the oldest university in Bangladesh. About D unit
D unit of Dhaka University is an extraordinary exit route to get out of hugged system. Gha Unit or D Unit is the department of subject changing. Suppose, you have passed HSC from science group but now you want to read other department then you have to participate in d unit test. The faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Commerce and the Faculty of Science are some of the subjects under Gh Unit.

Although there are all faculty departments in the D unit, the main focus of the D unit is the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Commerce. The Faculty of Social Sciences has been arranged in many subjects such as Economics, Development Studies, International Relations, and practical issues. There are many extra-curricular topics like Women and Gender Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies, Disaster Management; Those who are somewhat strangers, these are very timely in the present world context.
D/GHA Unit Admission Requirements
If you get under the B grade (grade point 3.0) of any subject in the Higher Secondary or equivalent exam, the application will not be accepted.
Humanities Department
Secondary and Higher Secondary (including 4th subject) students coming from Humanities Branch (including Madrasah Education Board) the sum of the GPA will be at least 8.0. However, in secondary/equivalent and higher secondary/equivalent examinations must be at least GPA 3.0.
Business Department
Candidates coming from Business Education, Diploma-in-Business Studies, Diploma-in-Commerce and Business Management. The sum of GPA-Doubles received in secondary and higher secondary or equivalent exams (including 4th subject) should be at least 8.00. However Minimum GPA 3.5 should be in secondary/equivalent and higher secondary/equivalent examinations. Diploma-in-business Candidates must be accounting candidates from Studies and Business Management Group.
Science Department
Science and Science of Science, Agricultural Science and Domestic Economics, Secondary and Higher Secondary Students. The sum of GPA-Doubles in the secondary (4th subject) examination will be as low as 8.50 But secondary/equivalent and high the minimum GPA 3.5 should be in the secondary/equivalent examinations.

The exam will be held in the MCQ system. For the MCQ examinations of 60 marks, a total of 60 questions will be answered and the time will be given 45 minutes .The value of each question is 1.00. For every wrong answer 0.25 numbers will be cut.
