Introduce to Subjects and Examinations
Like any other medical college in Bangladesh, the five-year course is divided into three parts (the first part being preclinical), with each part leading up to a professional examination (or ‘prof’) and consisting of subjects specific to that prof.
The First Professional Examination (done in the second year) consists of:
- Anatomy
- Biochemistry
- Physiology
The Second Professional Examination (done in the third year) consists of:
- Community Medicine
- Forensic Medicine
The Third Professional Examination (done in the fourth year) consists of:
- Microbiology
- Pathology
- Pharmacology
The Final Professional Examination (done in the fifth year) consists of:
- Gynecology
- Medicine
- Surgery
Minimum Eligibility to Apply for Admission
AFMC (AMC Cadet Category):
- The applicants who passed the examination in (2017 – 2018) in Science Group in SSC / equivalent Examination.
- Applicants who passed the examination in (2019 – 2020) in Science Group in HSC / equivalent Examination.
- The applicants must have both of SSC or equivalent exam & HSC or equivalent exam result total CGPA 10.00.
- The applicants must have at least GPA 3.50 in Biology subject in HSC or equivalent exam.
AFMC (AFMC Category and other 5 Army Medical College):
- The applicants who passed the examination in (2017 – 2018) in Science Group in SSC / equivalent Examination.
- The applicants who passed the examination in (2019 – 2020) in Science Group in HSC / equivalent Examination.
- The applicants must have both of SSC or equivalent exam & HSC or equivalent exam result total CGPA 09.00
- For tribal applicants must have both of SSC or equivalent exam & HSC or equivalent exam result total CGPA 8.00 but below 3.50 in SSC or equivalent exam / HSC or equivalent exam result is not acceptable.
- The applicants must have at least GPA 3.50 in Biology subject in HSC or equivalent exam.

- The exam will be held on MCQ & Total MCQ number 100.
- The pass number is 40.
- SSC GPA x 15 & HSC GPA x 25
- Negative mark 0.25.

How to Apply for AFMC admission
Dear interested candidates, you have to apply for admission via online.
- At first, you have to go admission website www.afmc.teletalk.com.bd.
- You can get application form there.
- Candidates must fill this from by their valid information.
- Remember that Photo Size (300X350) pixel, maximum size will be 75KB and signature Size (300X80) pixel, Maximum size will be 20KB.
- After submit this, form website automatically come a students copy and you can save this PDF file and finally print.
- Applicants must be sent within 48 hours of completing the application in the prescribed manner through the Teletalk Mobile Inclusion for the cost of admission in the prescribed procedure for Tk 1000 only. Otherwise the application will be rejected. However, the candidate can apply again within the specified time. Candidate’s preferred Cantonment in the payment process and admission test should be completed by SMS. We have given following the cantonment code.

AFMC Admit Card 2020-21
You can download circular after submitting online application. Admission authority will announce admit card download date. Applicant can download their admit card PDF with in due date. If any students fail to download admit card 2021 ,he can not enter the admission test exam hall.
- To download the admit card, please browse www.afmc.teletalk.com.bd.
- Clicking on the BU Admin option will allow the applicant to display the information and log in with your own User ID and Password and the option of Picture and Signature upgrade will be available.
- Photo (length x width) 300 x 300 pixel and signature (length x width) 300 x 80 pixel maximum 60kb will be automatically generated entry form.
- You can then download the entry form in PDF form.
- Pictures are not accepted in the dark.
- A copy of the admission test should be kept by you and the other copies will be submitted to the concerned inspector.
- Once the picture and signature are upped, it can’t be suitable change.
AFMC Admission Result 2020-21
AFMC admission result 2020-21 will be published within 5 days after admission test. You can check your result via internet. Follow the below step to download result
- The result will be published after 3 days to the official website of www.afmc.teletalk.com.bd.
- You can find the result in our website also.
- If there is no internet service you can also SMS for result.
- Firstly you have to go to the mobile phone’s message option.
- Then type AFMC <space> User ID <space> RESULT and send to 16321.
- You will get a return SMS and found the result.
