Directorate of Technical Education DTE is a Department of Technical and Madrasa Education Department under the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. It was established in the year 1960 to create skilled human resources through expansion and upgrading of technical education. In the last half century, many branches of technical education and administration have expanded. DTE Job Exam Date & Viva information
Candidates working in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous / Permitted Non-Governmental Organizations should apply through the appropriate authorities. The number of vacancies mentioned in the notification may be less than / above, which will be determined by the regulatory authority. During the DTE Job Viva examination, the following papers should be submitted:
(A) show the original copy of all certificates and submit photocopies of all certificates along with the completed application form;
(B) the certificate of permanent resident of the district should be submitted by the Chairman of the Union Council / Mayor of the City / City Council, the ward councilor and photocopy of the national identity card verified by the Gazetted Officer of the 8th grade;
(C) If the applicant is the son of the freedom fighter / martyr freedom fighter, the son and daughter of the applicant freedom fighter / martyr freedom fighter will be appointed by the councilor / city corporation ward councilor / councilor by the councilor of the city council. In this case, the name of the candidate’s father / mother and the name of the freedom fighter’s son / daughter should be clearly mentioned in the certificate.
(D) In case of Orphans, Physically Handicapped, Minorities and Ansar and Village Defense candidate candidates, photocopies of certificates issued by the competent authority should be submitted in accordance with the latest policy.
(E) Candidates working in public / semi-government / autonomous / approved non-governmental organizations should submit original copy of the non-objection letter / exemption certificate issued by the investing authority.

- No TA / DA will be provided for participation in the DTE job examination.
- Inaccurate / defective / incomplete applications will be considered void. If any information provided by the candidate is proved false / faulty / false at any stage of the Niyag program or after the Niagidan, his application / selection or Niyag will be deemed direct cancellation.
- The decision by the investigating authority on the issue of redressal and negligence should be final.
- The competent authority reserves the power to suspend / cancel / withdraw the Niagat process due to inevitable reasons.
